Shoe Porn: I Love You, Too.

It's no secret that I love sneakers. So today, when I saw a new Nike ad titled "The Love", I naturally had to watch it. I think the ad is dope, especially since it captures a variety of Nike demographics, in particular the sneaker giant acknowledging the dead stock/sneaker head culture (see: Air Yeezy's in both colorways; with that being said [shouts to Larry David!] I think i still hate the Kanye Tudda X Nike collabs).

I've been told by a couple of my friends that recently took a tarot card reading class at the University of Oregon that my excessive materialism is because "my sign" is Leo (I always thought it was just because stunting is a habit). Well regardless of why, your boy just really likes shoes. And since you gotta know where you been to know where your going, or some cornybull shit like that, let me (re)introduce you to an OG shoe model: the PRO-Ked.
The PRO-Ked has been in the sneaker game since before most of our parents were born, 1949 to be exact (even heavier in the game is the company that owns the rights for them: The United States Rubber Company's Keds, since 1916).

BLOCKwork: The Friends of still.grimey

I know what you're thinking. Last time I tried to get down with a series of blog posts (see the Nine for Nine series from the end of 2009) I failed miserably, only actually doing a third of them. What can I say? I was more into blowing dro, drinking IPAs, and watching basketball over winter break. But I digress.
