Why do I feel so embarrassed when I buy condoms? I should feel proud, elated, and frankly focused more on my impending task - getting down. This last situation may be the crux of the problem. There's a common misconception that anyone buying condoms is immediately rushing home to use the entire pack. Whether it's a 3-pack, 12-pack, or a Costco-pack we just assume anyone carrying condoms is going to get laid within minutes, numerous times, with numerous people, and numerous fetishes. Not so.
