The Who? The Fuck?

So out of no where, The Who wound up with the halftime spot for Super Bowl XLIV... and killed it. Their light show, which was reminiscent of J Lo's "Waiting for Tonight" music video, was absolutely phenomenal. Pete Townshend and Robert Daltrey sounded great belting out "Baba O'Riley". What was not so great, however, was that Pete had left his shirt unbuttoned at the bottom, letting us see the middle aged wasteland that his stomach has become. Which was not very enjoyable to watch jiggle, and subsequently leads one to believe that Pete has not been fighting for his meals.

Hit the Jump for more Super Bowl Coverage as well as part of The Who's performance.

Does anybody watching the game right now not love the calls Sean Payton is making? He has completely thrown conventional play calling to the wind and is essentially dangling his sack on Jim Caldwell's forehead, daring him to stop him. I love the call for the onside kick to start the second half.
With regards to commercials, this year's commercials are on point as far as I'm concerned. My favorite thus far (1:00 left in the third) has to be this one:

Other Notes of the Day:
- For whatever reason, there has been a sudden surge in the use of chatroulette.com amongst the friends. Which is funny, until you click next only to see somebody shooting their load. yikes. More on this, I think this topic deserves a post of its own.

- What's up with everybody using Arcade Fire's "Wake Up" for promotional use? It was in last year's Where the Wild Things Are trailer and is now in every NFL ad.

-I had a revelation today: Soda is still fucking rad. Fish(who will be featured in the upcoming BLOCKWORK: The Friends of still.grimey series), Zach and I copped some pizza and wings and have just been chugging pop all night. We are currently doing work on a 2 liter of Pepsi and getting so jacked. UPDATE: I now have a really bad stomach ache due to pounding of Pepsi.

-This game is fan-fucking-tastic, and I need to get off of here. I will leave you with some new fire from Rick Ross, Weezy and Birdman "Veteran's Day". Don't forget you heard it on still.grimey first.
